ASSISTANT COACH AND STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING COACH
Coach Annie is our 14s assistant coach and helps our girls to flourish in the sport of volleyball with not only her knowledge of the game, but her knowledge of exercise. Annie graduated from CSUSB in 2018 with a kinesiology degree with a concentration in exercise science and has been pre-qualified to be a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). With her knowledge and love for exercise, she is a great addition to the club by bringing in her qualified training for the girls to improve on specific areas of the game. Coach Annie has played for 8 years starting at the age of 10 years old, and has expanded her knowledge of the game by playing intramural volleyball in college. Coach Annie found her love for volleyball through self-value that this sport can bring, as well as understanding the value of team and hard work. She also has experience in exercise testing with college level athletes as well as high school athletes. With all of her experience in studying exercise she has truly found value in strength and conditioning from understanding one's health and well being. She is so excited for the season and cannot wait to see how greatly these young athletes can improve and grow through learning the sport of volleyball.
Jaydon Corby Potter has been coaching elite athletes for three years. This year he will be the head coach for Dtermined 14-1s. Jaydon found his love for volleyball his sophomore year of high school, while playing for Polytechnic High School. He was a starting outside hitter and middle for the Bears. His Senior year they went 22-3, he received player of the tournament, was voted First TEAM ALL League, and took them to CIF Semi-Finals. While playing for his high school he wanted to take his skills to the next level by joining Assist Volleyball Club where he had the opportunity to compete nationally. He continues playing volleyball by competing nationally in adult leagues. Aside from building his volleyball career Jaydon has a passion for basketball, coaching freshman basketball players, and he refs games in his free-time. Another way Jaydon gives back to the community is by working with middle school children in the AVID program.
